Dr Saira Goroo

Dr Saira Goroo has 15 years of GP experience in New Zealand, where she completed her training before moving to sunny Townsville with her family almost two years ago. She enjoys all aspects of General  Practice , with a particular passion for Paediatrics and Women’s  Health .

Over the years, she has gained extensive experience in newborn assessments , She enjoys providing advice on nutrition and the introduction of solids, managing common paediatric illnesses and skin conditions, and supporting some aspects of paediatric mental health.

Her interests also include women’s health, such as contraception advice, insertion and removal of Implanon, removal of Mirena, sexual health, menopause care , Ante natal and postnatal care .

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family and enjoys baking and travelling.
