Dr. Diogenes Pangwi

Dr. Diogenes Pangwi is a dedicated General Practitioner with more than 16 years of experience in emergency and acute care.

Originally trained in the Philippines, Dr Pangwi completed specialist training in Emergency Medicine at Makati Medical Center and became a Fellow of the Philippine College of Emergency Medicine.

He subsequently worked as an Emergency Medicine specialist in the Philippines, before continuing his career in Australia, including at Nepean Hospital in Sydney.

His extensive Emergency Medicine experience has developed an expertise in managing acute and complex medical conditions, which he brings to general practice through a comprehensive, evidence-based and patient-centred approach.

Dr Pangwi is known for his calm, attentive and approachable manner, committed to listening to his patients, to provide clear guidance in support of their long-term health and wellbeing.

Having relocated to Townsville with his family, Dr Pangwi looks forward to serving the local community and building lasting relationships with his patients and their families.
